oh give me a home

seriously... just give me a home already.

SO, this is a keeping-you-all-up-to-date post. actually, i guess that's what all posts are, right? anyways, my point is that i'm writing this particular post to announce that ben and i have once again moved. that's right, this is the 3rd time in 6 months. that's how much we love packing boxes. love it! also we realized that kelly, wyoming, although a much smaller town than jackson (if you could even call kelly a "town") it just wasn't hick enough for us. so we're trying driggs idaho on for size. driggs has one stop light and hundreds of cowboys. that's when you know you've hit the jackpot. when the ratio of traffic lights to cowboys is 1:198. we're about 45 minutes of so from jackson on the other side of the grand tetons. and the most important part? maggie doesn't have to share a bedroom with us anymore. can you all hear the angels singing?

back in the day

so i've been told that back in the day big women were considered beautiful because a) they had money which meant they had plenty of food, and b) uhh, see a). well, if my friend anjie and i had been born way back then, we would've had to beat the men off us with sticks... aren't we sooooo hot? i challenge anyone who wouldn't say, "HECK yes!".

these boots were made for walking...

especially when paired with Huggies...

ol' yeller-stone

well, i lost my camera for a while, but it's been found and it's high time i posted some totally exciting stuff about my life the past few months. so, for starters, here's some pics of my trip to yellowstone.

i had never been before (gasp, gasp!) and decided i'd better go now that i live so close. so, here's the little ben quinn family trying to smile in front of a really stinky geyser.

and here's a cave called dragon's breath (it should be obvious as to how it got it's name):

and here are my two old faithful's (because ben is so faithful, get it?)

and last but not least is a scary picture of me in a bathing suit (see my budding little belly?). ben and maggie went swimming at the fire hole. it's this place where a hot spring warms the river... neato, eh?

BUFF-alo

i thought maybe i'd give you all a taste of the jackson wyoming experience. the weather is getting cold (we already have a little snow in the mountains) and so the buffalos (or ta-tonka, for all you crazy "dances with wolves" fans out there) are back in the jackson area, probably to ski and shop and try a buffalo burger (which is a little weird). anywho, here's some pics of the buffalos:

this picture is just a gang of buffalos eating dried up grass... (that really is what you call a group of buffalo- a gang... although to be totally correct, i should tell you that these are actually bison- closely related to, but not actually buffalo. so really this is a boring ol' herd of bison)

here is a buffalo (or bison, whatever) with what i think is probably the equivalent of a tattoo. nice patch...

and here we have a buffalo doing a tap dance routine on the pavement for us. they are really such talented creatures.

and there you have it, folks. that's jackson in a nutshell. good-bye and goodnight.
