Inspired by...

...Misha Lulu, an adorable children's clothing line. Despite the drug-induced lethargy, I decided to try my hand at crafting Maggie some summer shorts using this beautiful asian-themed fabric. I also ended up appliquéing an old, stained t-shirt (appliqué over the stain, and voila! New, "clean" shirt!). Anyway, what do you guys think of the shorts? I thought they turned out kinda cute, like little bloomers.

P.S. Don't mind the bandage on Maggie's arm. She was injured while helping me make some dinner on St. Paddy's Day. So much for any Luck-o'-the-Irish, eh? It's a 2nd degree burn, but we had the doctor check her out and we're currently using a special burn cream on it. What with that and all my meds, we're like a veritable hospital around here!

Love it! um, so don't be surprised if you happen to get a visit from DCSF. I swear it, uh, wasn't me who called.

Very cute... and different! Well, different for now. As soon as anyone sees Maggie wearing these they'll be all over the place. Great job with the tee. I need to do some of that with MY shirts. Any ideas for making it look a little less 5 and a little more 28-ish?
