It's snowing today, and the kids and I are all feeling under the weather- coughs, runny noses, etc. But instead of dwelling on that bit of misery, I'll share a photo of this sweet little purse that I made for Maggie for her Easter basket. I stuffed the little appliqued bird with a little batting so she looks nice and plump and full of birdseed. Or worms. Or whatever it is that little pink polka dot birdies eat.

Maybe you should take me fabric shopping. Every time I think, "maybe I'll learn to sew..." I head over to Joanne's or whatever, and then feel suicidal. I HATE fabric stores. All fabrics seem cheap and ugly to me, yet your little projects turn out so cute.
That's darling!
Adorable! I bet she just loved it!
So cute! I love little projects like this!
that is such a cute purse, Kat. love it :) I guess Jonathan will be happy for the snow. I know he was hoping for one more snow. I hope you guys feel better soon!
How cute is that!? You and Kim are so talented and crafty! When can I take lessons?
Very sweet. Hey, that rhymes with your post title.
When you said "coughs, runny noses, etc." did you actually mean morning sickness?
well, super sleuth kim, the kids did have coughs and runny noses... and yes, i had morning sickness. you are too smart for me, missy, too smart for me...
