Can you Relate?

Don't you love days when you're talking on the phone with your insurance agent and your two-year-old daughter decides right then that she has to go "twinkle" RIGHT NOW and she runs screaming down the hallway going on about how her "twinkle is coming out!" and you're right behind her because you don't want to mop up yet another accident on the carpet and your daughter is trying to climb over the baby gate blocking the bathroom door (which you installed because your 10-month-old son has developed an increased interest in toilets and the things that go in them) and you're still mmm-hmmming to your insurance agent who is spouting off quotes and numbers and just as you are about to get to your little girl and help her over the gate and to the toilet, the floodgates open and her "twinkle" is now dripping down both sides of the baby gate and your son is trying to pull himself up on the baby gate to see what all the excitement is about and your insurance agent is ending the conversation even though you have no idea what he said and what terms you just agreed to. And as you slowly turn around breathing deeply and praying for patience, your daughter giggles and says, "I get a sticker for my chart!" Yeah, I just love days like that.

you know, after reading your post, it made me feel exhausted, tired, nervous, and excited to have a kid! (caveat: i'm not pregnant) i love the way you write, it makes me feel like i'm right there with you! i was reading your post at work (pretending to work) and i bust out laughing so hard... it really made my day.

by the way, i did photoshop the license plate out... for some reason i thought well, if people blur out license plates on tv it must be for some good reason... i know i'm retarded... :) ha ha... but i think if i did get a personalized license plate CATLOVE is a great idea! just kidding! anyways, also, what kind of camera do you have? i really like that nifty feature you mentioned with it picking up only the colors you want...

my camera is a Canon Powershot SD1000 7.1 Mega Pixels. It's a little camera and I love that because it's easy to slip into my diaper bag to have handy for any occasion. hope you guys are having fun in Cali!
